Nemours Biomedical Research Statistics Course
January 2010
Overview
This course is designed to teach participants about
data analysis and the use of statistical methods in clinical research. Topics covered
include descriptive statistics, test of hypothesis, correlation, regression analysis,
analysis of variance, analysis of covariance, repeated measures, logistic regression,
parametric and nonparametric tests and designing clinical studies. SPSS
will be used for the purpose of data analysis. Participants will be expected to gain
experience in designing clinical studies, data analysis, presentation, and interpretation
of statistical analysis.
